Teruya Mogi became President & CEO of Mitsui Plastics, Inc. in 2019 with 25 years of experience at Mitsui around the globe. He has been engaged in businesses in diverse chemical industry, especially in polymer related business, with prior to arriving at Mitsui Plastics, Teruya served as General Manager of specialty polymers business in Mitsui Tokyo HQ, performance chemicals business in Mitsui Europe (Germany and Belgium), and also at Strategic Planning Department of Chemicals business unit. Throughout his career, he has focused on various chemical businesses, including leading several acquisition projects and JV establishments in Asia, United States, and Europe. Teruya holds a Bachelor of Law from Keio University in Tokyo and a Master’s in Business Administration from Waseda University Graduate School, Tokyo.
